Branding & Wayfinding Development for two University sites in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Developing a branding and wayfinding experience for the vast and complex University situated deep in the Tajik mountains on the border with Afghanistan.. An educational project developed over decades by the Aga Khan Foundation to bring western educational opportunities to the local mountain communities. This bold idea brought together a global team of architects and construction professionals to realise the Foundation's dream. We created an intuitive wayfinding system that allowed the user to develop an understanding of their route through each building with the help of clever waypoints markers.
